Work Experience
That's my Nibol team in 2021, and I'm the one who jumped upside down in a 1.4m swimming pool.
Frontend Developer
Mar 2024 - May 2024I joined the AskLayla team working on an existing AI project with no friction whatsoever and I adapted to their flow and code style. Slowly and with respect I pushed towards an always cleaner code and structured architecture with attention to pixel-perfect UI.
Within 2 weeks we transitioned the Flutter app to a performing and SEO-friendly Next.js MVP that we kept updating with fast development cycles every few days.
Flutter Consultant
Aug 2023 - Oct 2023I was responsible for guiding the development team in the making of a new Flutter app for a B2B social network.
Responsabilities were:
- Introducing the team to Flutter, teaching the framework and best practices.
- Help in making a template app and design system to speed up the development of the company's future projects.
- Organizing the work in tasks and sprints for the app development.
- Setting up code review and pull request flow.
Mobile Developer
Mar 2019 - Aug 2023I was part of the founding team and joined as number 3 and we gathered 14 awesome people working on this innovative business. Nibol makes people work where they love the most.
I started building the Android app, then iOS, and finally the Web app, all in Flutter and I can definitely consider myself an expert after years of experience and iterations.
But most of all I practiced my soft skills by taking part in all the onboardings that came after me. I and the rest of the founding team were able to keep and develop the company culture, choosing the right fit between all the applications and transmitting our principles to the new arrivals.
Web Developer
Jan 2018 - Jun 2019 My first real work experience, my first developer job, my first startup, and I loved every single aspect of it, from joining meetings with investors to sleeping one week straight on a sofa.
I worked as a full-stack developer, building the site with React.js and managing the back end with Python.
We offered AAA gaming at a cheap price and users loved us! We were just a bit off-timing on the market.
Editor
Sept 2016 - Sept 2018 Beautiful experience as an editor during my university years. I got the chance to develop critical thinking over video games and meet many people working in the business.
I loved joining public events to discover new and innovative games... and probably free gadgets above all.
I'm still a super fan of their work and their new project Gameromancer.
